Carla Immordino has worked in the Accounting and Human Resource fields for more than 24 years in various business areas. Since 1997, she has been engaged in the accounting department at the Entertainment Merchants Association (EMA).
Immordino started her career in 1990 as an Accounting Assistant for HealthCare Communications, Inc., a medical research firm, where she managed all aspects of the accounting department as well as assisted the Controller with human resources responsibilities.
She then broadened her accounting scope by taking the Studio Accounting Representative position at the then fifth largest Architectural firm in America, The Hillier Group, Inc. now RMJM. There her primary focus was the accounting of all architectural projects for most of the divisions within the company, overseeing the time & expense billing and project analysis. While there she also worked assisting the human resources department with payroll.
After moving to California, Immordino joined EMA (then VSDA) as a Staff Accountant before quickly being promoted to Assistant Controller. In 2002 she was promoted to the Controller position.
Currently, Immordino is the Vice President of Finance and Administration and is responsible for managing all of the accounting, human resources and office management functions for EMA and the EMA Scholarship Foundation.
Immordino is a graduate of Mercer County Community College.
