In May of 2007 EMA partnered with the research firm The NPD Group to survey consumers throughout the country to identify a group we refer to as "Power Users". These are consumers who actively consume entertainment from a wide variety of sources including movie theater attendance, traditional DVD purchasing and renting, downloading - both to their PC and mobile devices, browsing the Internet, using their DVRs – in other words – they are active in all content delivery channels. Our belief is that the behavior of this group may be reflected in average consumers in the future.
